    well folks its been an april and then some eh...almost 8000 posts again,could still happen with just under 24 hours to go for some westerners here..either way it was a fun month for me ..got to hang out ,post pics of the toys that i am very fortunate to have, and give and receive encouragement to more than just shaving.. some of us here have had a tougher time this month than others, be it sickness or loss of loved ones, i hope you all have better days ahead..i spend a lot of hours here now ,yes i have a vintage gillette obsession and you guys help keep it active thank you..but more importantly i feel i am part of a small group of caring people who could all get together around a big bonfire, share some bbq,adult beverages and a cigar ..i am honored to be part of it,thank you all ,happy shaves and happy days to all of you fine gentlemen..

    UPDATE:
    As I mentioned we closed on the sale of our house yesterday and will vacate on Thursday. We have looked at tons of houses but hadn't found the right one. Then one popped up Saturday that seemed to fit the bill. We liked it and made an offer and after some bouncing around we finally settled on a deal and are under contract. We should close at the end of May (somewhere between May 28 and 31). So it looks like our time at the log cabin will be around one month, which sounds perfect.

    Still incredibly busy packing up this house as you can imagine. Didn't get home from work last night until almost 10:00pm so that didn't help. But all will be fine in the end.

    APRIL RECAP:
    I didn't have much of a focus this month. I was able to pare down some den items once we started packing. Most of my shaving stuff is going to storage temporarily but I pulled out several setups to take with me so shaving in May will be just fine. I should have picked one soap in attempts to reduce or use it up, but I just couldn't do it.
