I have to say this Bay Rum is by far my favorite and I think highly of it. This will return in the fall for sure. I 'might' find a day to sneak this scent in on a day where I'll be indoors all day but it's unlikely.

Friday's Shave Cold Water Rinse Eskimo Tuxedo Jayaruh #360 Synthetic TNNSER Gem Blue Star CS CWR Florida Water My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Eskimo Tuxedo Shave Soap face lathered well with Jayaruh #360 Synthetic brush. I did two passes with the TNNSER razor with a Gem Blue Star CS SE blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Florida Water. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Hey guys - here’s my SOTD for today: Stirling Mentholated Pre-Shave Soap Razorock Plissoft 26mm Monster Wilkinson Long Handle/7 AM day 2 Stirling Glacial Black Cherry SS Stirling Glacial Unscented ASB Osage Rub AS Splash Bleu de Chanel EdT Despite the unseasonably cold weather we’ve been getting I couldn’t resist the urge to have a good face freezing shave and that’s exactly what I had. The mentholated pre-shave soap from Stirling started the ball rolling, and then two passes with the Glacial Black Cherry soap’s deliciously scented lather turned my face into an ice block. Finally the Glacial Unscented balm and the Rubby Dubby Doo put the proverbial “icing on the cake.” There’s something about these 7 AMs that sort of turns me off a little because although I did get an excellent BBS shave, these blades seem to be kind of harsh. I’ll wait another day or two and see how it goes. Have a great weekend!

Today is my birthday, so I used items that were special to me, or were gifts. The razor was my paternal grandfather (no date code) the brush from the 2019 travel box. The soap from fuzzy, and the AS from Christmas.
