This might be the last seasonal wearing of the bay rum as Spring closes out and as the blazing heat is mere days/a week or so away. I have to say this Bay Rum is by far my favorite and I think highly of it. This will return in the fall for sure. I 'might' find a day to sneak this scent in on a day where I'll be indoors all day but it's unlikely.

My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Eskimo Tuxedo Shave Soap face lathered well with Jayaruh #360 Synthetic brush. I did two passes with the TNNSER razor with a Gem Blue Star CS SE blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Florida Water. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

 

Thank you Tim. It's a great warm weather scent.

Catie’s Bubbles La Terre Verte today. 20 seconds to load the Wild West Brushworks/Elite Razor Manchurian White brush. Easy, thick, slick, lather. Gillette 7-O’Clock Blue SP still in the Gillette NEW SC. Excellent smooth, close, shave. I finished with Country Club Southern Oud aftershave.

Mighty fine Friday shave. I like the Fume Shave Soap from Turkey. I've been told it's no longer available. That's to bad cuz it works well for me. At any rate, my face is happy. Now go enjoy your day folks.

Despite the unseasonably cold weather we’ve been getting I couldn’t resist the urge to have a good face freezing shave and that’s exactly what I had. The mentholated pre-shave soap from Stirling started the ball rolling, and then two passes with the Glacial Black Cherry soap’s deliciously scented lather turned my face into an ice block. Finally the Glacial Unscented balm and the Rubby Dubby Doo put the proverbial “icing on the cake.” There’s something about these 7 AMs that sort of turns me off a little because although I did get an excellent BBS shave, these blades seem to be kind of harsh. I’ll wait another day or two and see how it goes.

Boys, the Apollo razor is outstanding. I await the buzz for this new product! I bought mine from shave Nation. Expensive but up there with the best tools - well made.

Good morning Jeff. I hope your water level is receding by now. We have had a lot of floods in our area. We are up high so it didn't get to use. Hope all is well. Nice shave.

Today is my birthday, so I used items that were special to me, or were gifts.
The razor was my paternal grandfather (no date code) the brush from the 2019 travel box. The soap from fuzzy, and the AS from Christmas.
