Thanks, Joseph! It's Stirling's Satsuma shave soap and AS. If you are into a citrus scent, then this is a good one. Stirling's Piacenza is even better!
5.3.19 Rock’n the Shavette Magic Shavette w/ Nacet Tuxcedo Synthetic Col Conk Bay Rum Witch Hazel/Osage Mix Aloe Vera =DFS+ shave!! Special shout out to @Bama Samurai for teaching me the ways of the Dark Side. FYI-witch hazel and Osage Rub make an excellent aftershave & Clear AloeVera Gel makes a great Balm.

I had gotten competent with it last year or the year before. But, I somehow picked it up this year with proficiency! I’m stoked!!
Playing catch up this afternoon....hope I get this right. Great news on both counts....for your daughter and for your Dad! I've run my father through 2 week, 4 week, 60 day, 90 day and a few now at 6 month follow ups for the past 2.5 years. A four month follow up points in a positive direction. Thank you Clint! I'll get the SR shaves on track eventually...have the Puma and a Henkels, and an 'awesome tool box', as well as plenty of time. Using the Feather DX will keep me motivated and learning. Thanks! I'm sure Glen (or someone eventually) would do a great job, but....I'll never learn if I send it out. But, two strikes already. It's why I invested in all the honing stones. Not like it's a new thing to me....been honing pocket knives and kitchen knives for 42+ years. A SR is just a different and delicate tool to learn to put an edge on it. Thanks Danny! The images can rarely do it justice. Fun colors, great knot, a lather machine so far. That's what I'm hoping for. Thanks! Wet shaving to me is fun and rewarding (a big part of it is the reading/lurking/MAYhem/posting/researching here on TSD). Loving the journey so far. Probably skip a shave tomorrow. I'll be watching honing videos, researching the SR threads and such. The irritation from this morning still feels like a nagging sunburn in a couple areas trying to make the Puma do its work, so I'll let it heal and grow a bit. Probably just the Feather DX on Sunday.
MAYhem 2019 3 April, MMXIX A.D. Day Three - Target "85 Caddy" and Rainbow So, I was cruising down the street in my 6-4.... Sorry, wrong thread. @Frijolero - How did you perceive this blade in terms of performance? Other than that...all is quiet in Colorado. Have a great evening and a pleasant Saturday!
Good info Joseph, but with practically a new bottle in my possession, it will probably last me my lifetime!
Thanks for the kind mention. The Magic is a fun shavette, and is good for traveling due to its low replacement cost. Also a fun way to use the old DE blade stash!
My review of the Rainbow. It was another blade that worked out for me, but it is in Derby territory for sharpness. But, I am comfy DFS on two. I would not recommend it to newbies.
I tried the Dart again this morning, this time on a smaller handle. This is a Timor stainless handle. I really like these handles, but this particular head is a little heavy for it. Next time I'll try the bulldog handle
