I always get my best shaves after a couple of days growth. Today was an awesome shave with my Henckels Friodor (sp?) 6/8 assisted by my 30DC brush and GD Chypre Conifre. Mostly BBS with a much closer DFS on the lower neck than usual. Fine Platinum, followed by a spritz of Creed Aventus completed the fancypants vibe. Sorry, no time for a pic, as I’m off to church.

That's great what she's doing(vet volunteering). That was my cousin's career(he's retired now). I don't have vet skills, but I love animals(especially those of the companion and "therapy assistance" persuasion). Dogs are my favorite.

:happy097: Good one Danny. That would not work well at all with a cold water shave.

    MAYhem 5 SOTD:

    Razor: Gillette Red Tip
    Blade: Feather Hi-Stainless
    Brush: Razorock 400
    Lather: Stirling Varen
    Aftershave: Stirling Varen
    Additional Care:
    Stirling Unscented PSB

Another new soap, some Stirling Varen. Out of the tub, I was shocked at how similar the scent was to Glastonbury. When lathered, though, the scent opens up quite a bit. Much more florals and the oakmoss really comes out. The soap is a very dry scent, the AS and cologne are a little sweeter. I do enjoy it, but not as much as Ramblin Man. This is also a big scent, so a little care is needed when applying the AS and cologne.

The red thing in the background of the picture is a sleep mask I borrowed from my daughter. I used it as a blind fold during my shave today. In the spirit of openness, I did lather with my eyes open, but I shaved completely blind folded. Two passes, no blood, and a low grade CCS, verging on a SAS. It was definitely different, but as I got going, muscle memory took over, and the shave went pretty well. Not sure I would want to do this with a more aggressive razor. This was a nice way to start my Sunday. I hope everyone has a great day!

Yes she will be volunteering with the Vet that oversees Canine Assistance. Maya already works with the human society training difficult dogs so they can more easily find a forever home.

Up and moving this morning. The little D01 3 band whipped up a rich slick lather. Three passes and touch ups caught the baby this morning. A splash of CC Bay Rum and I am off to take my Mom to lunch. I hope everyone has a great Sunday.
