I’m Chris, they are great together. I threw them together because I like menthol in witch hazel. I’ve always preferred witch hazel to alcohol. I don’t know how it would work with regular store brand witch hazel, I used the fancy stuff from Thayers that has aloe in it. The combination is a winner. The menthol is strong with all the benefits of the fancy witch hazel. ( I mixed it about 1/2 &1/2.) It’s definitely a mix I’m gonna remember. It also works as a menthol addictive for soaps like VDH.
The new shave den is ready. We still have a few minor inside items inside to complete, but it is mostly done. We are waiting for the ground to dry up so that we can get a driveway poured. We're almost there. If plans hold, we'll be living in the new house in two weeks.
