Razor: Blackland Vector
Blade: Schick proline
Soap: OatCake Mahogany
The Razor and Blade:
Vector feels like reaching the end of my personal journey seeking for the best razor. It really provides me all I can possibly want from my razor.
I finds it medium aggressive, as I can feel the blade on my skin and hear the sound of cutting, however it is so smooth that I can barely believe it actually cutting.
But my oh my, the SE Schick proline results are nothing to compare with DE... it is like a wide laser beam goes on your face with phenomenal accuracy, results with 50mm width line of extreme close shave at a single pass!
I'm in love with the Vector and Schick combination and cannot think of going back to DE.
Though, My SE experience is actually not that wide, I can only compare the Vector to RazoRock Hawk v2. and I'll put it simple:
Vector is less aggressive to the feel.
Vector is far superior when it comes to smoothness.
Vector has nothing less than amazing maneuvering, balance and hand feel.
Considering to the price point.. it is not necessarily that big of a jump, so you do need to do the shave budget hands for this.
The Soap:
It is my first use so I prefer to have more quality time with it first.
However, I can definitely noticed its nursing quality.
I do want to talk about the scent-
When I first open the tin, i blown away with an incredible delicious desert like scent.
I almost got confused and wanted to get a bite of it.
It reminds me the smell of chocolate chips cake with hints of danish swirl.
definitely something I cannot resist.
