AHA! This is why I absolutely love TSD and the 30DC. Little treasure nuggets of information I don't know (and can't seem to learn on my own) every couple of days. I will add this to my ever growing list of shaving commandments (not unlike Gibb's rules).

I tell my 2 kiddos all the time....they didn't come with a manual. The only thing that happened when we left the hospital was that an officer(!) checked we had you belted in a correctly mounted baby car seat. I'm still a kid, so they (and wifey) tell me as much....I just reply, there's a time not to act grown up, and there's a time to act grown up, and while I usually confuse the two, it never matters how many birthdays I've had!

 

Many many years ago, Walter Cronkite did a report about how people would soon be able to do various things manually while driving(he mentioned making coffee and shaving). I remember thinking "WHAAAAAAAAAA-AAA???".

UPDATE on Murphy & McNeil soap

Murphy and McNeil did contact me and a replacement is on the way. They suggested leaving the soap uncovered for a while to dry out and that should work. (Clint also suggested this as well)

 

I hope they make things right with you. I hope M&M gets things working correctly on their quality control.

 

Good deal on the replacement. I am afraid they have some serious issues in their manufacturing process. I hope they get things straightened out.

 

Clint, they took care of it and I give them credit for that. I cannot complain about their customer service. Replacement is on the way. This is the second time they had seen it and it was from some earlier batches and they feel assured that they have it handled.

 

Wonder if you could whip it up in a soup, cereal, and lathering vessel.?

Up and moving pretty early this morning. Everything just worked well together. I really like this Cold River Schapenmelk soap. I have found it super easy to lather with a very pleasant cologne type scent. Three passes and touch ups with the OREN easily caught the baby. This razor looks like a potato peeler but flat out delivers a superb shave. A splash of Dominica Grand Bay Rum aftershave left me smelling great. At work for the morning before picking Asha up at the airport. It will be nice to have both girls home for Mother's Day weekend. I hope everyone has a great Tuesday.
