I put a lot of the oil on my face to make sure that I was well lubricated. The other variable in this shave was that I didn't really needed to shave because my stubble was socially acceptable. Again, we hobbyists have enough soap that using olive oil as a replacement would never see the light of day.

I'm anxious to put a knot in the Montalvo handle I have. I like the SHD fan enough I might just add a second to the rotation. Hopping a plane to Florida for some R&R on Friday so I won't be ordering anything until we return.

Nice shave, Joe. You've the newest MAYhem shave. If you're looking for ideas, I don't recall a Marina or a Pomidoro shave, although I think Alfredo would provide more slickness.

Well, gents, I took a break from packing to stir things up. It appears to have worked. Conservative estimates predict I helped increase today's post count by 33% compared to the running 3-day post count average. Back to packing...
