    It's a beautiful place, Jim. We spent some time there many years ago. You'll have a blast. It's a great place for bike riding. I can't wait to see some photos and hear about your trip. I know you are ready for some downtime, and I hope you all enjoy it.

    Robert - Perfectly acceptable procedure when learning a new tool to do as much as is comfortable, but finish with a known closer. None of this is instinctive. Incremental improvement happens as Technique trumps tools.
    They are good blade holders Danny. I can get a decent shave from a Flare Tip, but a Red is just a little better. The heft and gnarly knurling add to the experience. They were made before Gillette slimmed down the curve of the doors so the geometry is different from the later Slims, Super Adjustables, and Flare tips.
    It's easy Paul. Put your pennies in a jar, buy a stick, puck, or go all in for the glass dish. It's an Old School European hard soap. Very economical for the long service / investment. Great lather and the scent, while not as polarizing as some is available in a full range of Men's products.
