My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Tabac Shave Soap face lathered well with The Brush B-3 by Tom. I did two passes with the Gillette OT by Tom razor with a Gillette Silver Blue blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Tabac AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Chiseled Face Ghost Town Barber today. 20 seconds to load the RazoRock/Zenith Chubby Extra Silvertip brush. Easy, thick, slick, lather. Gillette “Spoiler” SS in the Gillette Fat Boy. Excellent smooth, close, shave. I finished with Chiseled Face Ghost Town Barber aftershave.

This was an absolute delight of a shave with this new soap, followed by Dave’s wonderful balm. My wife is the one who gave me the soap and the aftershave and let me say that I had tons of fantastic lather that was so rich as well as slick with a lovely scent which is very old school. Its postshave care is also very comfortable. Dave’s balm felt so moisturizing and soothing - this stuff should be on the market. The Groom aftershave has the same scent as the soap and it stung a little for a second or two but then it felt great. Two passes with no touching up resulted in a perfect BBS for me!

 

Using the same products all week. I started my shave journeys with TOBS, so it is fitting that I circle back around to it.

Tuesday SOTD <sorry Tabac, maybe Thursday lol>

I'm not ready to give up on the Rocnel SE-P - I elected to try it with a 1/2 of a new Feather blade and a cool water brushless shave with Clubman Classic Shave Cream (hey it's a warm 72 degrees here in PA today ).

Wow! A very fun and comfy shave. The Rocnel SE-P and Blade went right through my coarse beard and I had no nicks today. I may do this again tomorrow fellas. Happy Tuesday all.

Fantastic shave, from an American Made razor. I had a silky smooth 2 pass shave, that left me BDBS. I like this razor, a lot. I like the way it looks, holds and edge, and handles. I wish I had a twin of it.
