Great photo and shave Joseph. Seville smells fantastic. I am glad the wife approved. I also admire your one in / one out strategy on the brushes. Brushes just seem to stay in my den.

A wonderful shave to start the day. The A&E soap arrived earlier this week and I just had to put it into rotation. The scent off the puck is sweet over a base of sandalwood. However while face lathering the bergamot comes to the front with a sharp green note. I really like the scent even though it is not at all what I expected. Three passes and touch ups ended with a perfect BBS shave. A splash of Fine Santal and I am ready for the day. Maya is volunteering at the vet this morning so I will go into the office until noon or so before the three of us find something fun for the afternoon. I hope everyone has a great Thursday.

Wanted to go back to the Puma Special SR today. 2.5 passes as usual. Both hands used, felt a little too confident on the 1st pass (too much coffee and good tunes), so made myself slow down for the remaining work. 3rd shave with the Puma, 6 total SR shaves now. No weepers. DFS most everywhere except the lower right neck. Even tried some SR buffing on lower right neck area with skin stretching, helped a little. CCS there. But, all in all, very nice shave today!

New acquisition...shaving bowl. Dottie Shaving Bowl made by Symmetrical Pottery (Etsy). Custom colors, cobalt blue and silver. Long lead time for it, but it is a super lather monster. More images soon.

Also switched up the photography subjects just a little. Kind of speaks for itself....Stirling Sandalwood and Zenith did awesome. Still gotta work on the shiny angles to show the blade etching....it's much more prominent than it shows in images.

I think....after reading more the past few days, I will add some chromium oxide paste (green) to my inventory for that last bit of sharpening the SRs. The Puma doesn't feel as sharp as the Henkels. Have a 'first purchase/practice' strop that I'll commit to that....and go after the 'ultimate' SR edge.

I just wanted a nice, quick non-MAYhem shave this morning before work and the Yaqi DOC delivered. Awesome shave this morning with no weepers or nicks. Just a nice comfortable shave. The Yaqi DOC is a smooth and fun razor.

The Murphy & McNeil Trinity performs great. I took just a small amount of the soap with my finger and smeared it onto the bottom of the salsa bowl. It did not take long to whipped up some nice thick lather.

Finished up with some Nivea and Clubman Classic and out the door to work.

Thank you, Clint! It has been a productive trip, but busy. I left the factory after 9:00 last night. Of course it was still light outside, so that was nice. I won't be at the factory as long today, as I am staying Stockholm at the airport before my flight out tomorrow.
