True you don’t need a Jnat but you do need a Shapton glass 16k and a pasted strop. Like you I started with a Naniwa 12k but when I added the Shapton 16k and CrOx and FeO3 strops it really upped my game.

You are doing great, CrOx is a great addition.

    Great shot Jim!
Beautiful setup Joseph! congrats on obtaining the ever elusive SWMBOSOA!
One thing I find about A&E scents are that they are never what you think they will be like but are excellent anyways. Great shave Clint!
Congrats on another great straight shave Blair!
    awesome setup Danny!

Had a great shave a few hours ago. Perfection is a sliding scale in this little endeavour of ours, but I am completely smooth this morning. This Red Tip is battling my Aristocrat Jr for the crown of my fave Gillette TTO. I think I'll pull the 'Crat jr out tomorrow for a quick two day comparison. Same blade, etc.
This cream is a winner as well. I love the natural, strong Lime scent. Thanks again @Keithmax. The splash is a pleasant enough, non-descript scent, but isn't my favourite one by Jeeves for sure.
    Have a great day all!

    Great set-up, Jim! Safe travels.
When we have the same gear, Jim, it just looks better in your pics! Outstanding.
Thank you, Joseph. I needed some soap inspiration and the Seville is coming out tomorrow now.
The new soap sounds very interesting and original.
Have fun with the girls this afternoon, Clint!
Enjoy the new shave bowl, Blair!
That handle looks like it was made by Rubberset! Awesome, Danny.

Great post, Joseph! I agree that as long as you can comfortably shave after honing, than you did a fine job. I have only refreshed my razors using a barber's hone and Croxing.

Great shave, Blair! In the past, I have nicked myself because I was too cocky. I am glad you are taking your time SR shaving. Keep up the fine shaving!

When Joe @Trigger gets his Red Tip in we all need to plan a Red Tip shave day.

I am receiving it today! According to the tracking report, it is out for delivery. I know that I said that I wasn't going to use it this month, but since everyone brought out their Redtips, then I will interrupt my Dovo focus and shave with it this evening.

Ugh...enabler. I do have a CrOx pasted strop. I watched a Shapton glass 16k for $125 until they sold out.
