Since I've figured it out and got the technique down, great shaves every time. My face is BBS and very happy. Now go enjoy your day folks.
Autostrop B1 with a Feather stainless steel FHS-10 blade, shave 6. I think this blade is now officially about done, it is starting to pull when cutting. It was still very good but definitely less close than the prior shaves with this blade. Tomorrow I'll try a pass with this blade stropped to see if it helps extends the life of blade and if it doesn't it gets chucked and shave gets finished with a fresh modified gem stainless ptfe blade.
Friday 10th May Cold Water Shave Heno de Pravia Glycerine Soap Colonel Conk Bay Rum Soap Zenith Euro-Al Boar Brush Gem Featherweight with a Gem PTFE/SS Blade Witch hazel Aloe Vera Gel Benjamins Bay Rum with Pimento A lovely shave. 3 Passes for a perfect result.

Fri 10th May Omega 11137 boar Arran Aromatics Bay Citrus Alu. Hawk V1 + S/S Handle Schick Proline [ 3 ] Massimo Dutti A/S Lotion Todays Shave confirms for me what I have thought for some time , I get better Shaves with the Alu. Hawk than I do with the Alu. General , such things are very personal but for quite a time I never reached instinctively for the General when on an AC/SE Rotation. Todays Shave with the Hawk and this little used soap was a real pleasure, the razor is so manoeuvrable that I was with ease able to attain what I can only describe as a Face Stroker. A liberal splash of A/S and my skin feels taut and refreshed.
Friday's Shave Cold Water Rinse Arko Extra Performance The Brush B-3 by Tom Starling SE Gem Blue Star CS CWR Aqua Velva AS My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Arko Extra Performance Shave Cream face lathered well with The Brush B-3 by Tom. I did two passes with the Starling SE razor with a Gem Blue Star CS SE blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Aqua Velva AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Soap: Stirling Baker Street Finally used the Schick Injector I that my brother-n-law gave me for Christmas. I have been really impressed with this little razor. No nicks, cuts, or irritation. Autostrop B1 with a modified Gem stainless steel ptfe blade, shave 1. As per @chevyguy's suggestion I just chucked the stropped Feather blade and went with the fresh Gem blade instead. Shave is about the same as the Feather on a fresh blade but the Feather was a milder overall shave, that maybe partially due to the Gem blade needing to be broken in. The expectation is 6 shaves out of this razor/blade combo now that I am getting the hang of how to use these Autostrops like I get with Gem blades in the Micromatic razors.
