I promised the Queen I would be nice..I did.. and I am trying I really am.. grrrrrrrrr.

Anywho. I hear good things about the shave sticks. If i leave it as a stick is it all that hard to use lets say a boar brush and work some soap into it off the top?

I had wahl eversharp ringtop that needed a new sac, got a full polish job too, had a sheaffer tuckaway that needed the vac fill rebuilt

only problem is the stick is about the diameter of between a quarter and half dollar, not much surface area to load the brush with.

Just got back from competition and am waiting on last kid to get picked up. Out of 27 events we ended up in top places in all but three of them. (Science Olympiad - Building events such as building aircraft, trajectory devices, rube goldberg devices etc... , lab events where they have to perform experiments, take measurement, draw conclusions, analyze data, or other practical science application, study events where they have a topic of study and then take tests)

We ended up in 1st place for large middle schools. The other middle school in our town took 1st place for small middle schools and our high school had 1st place for large high schools. Woo Hoo. Of course, this just means that we have a month to get ready for state competition on March 28th.

The story on the razor was funny. I saw it on Ebay for ~$40ish? So I pm'd Rodd about it to see if it was a good deal. Well, he said it was his:happy102 So he cut me a deal! I have always been a crappy salesman and couldnt think of turning a profit on it. I sell stuff here as a favor to the community and not to make a quick buck.

BTW....jerky supply has run dry since london broil hasnt been on sale in forever. Rolls wants some crazy amount though. Basically approx 21 pounds of raw meat turned into jerky.

    Congrats..sounds like a very good day.:D

Bong that is kinda what I thought, I already have several screw top containers to mill soaps into. I have my williams, VDH, and Colgate milled into them, also some C&E Sandlewood that bought from Dom. So I am thinking that is what I will use.

Yep, we had about 2" of snow. It's still cold, but it beats the stuff we had in December.

I actually own a 342-G (1950's), but I haven't had to take it apart. Should have left-handed (reversed) threads on the piston, and a threaded section. You need special tools to take them apart, but these can be made at home (or in the Lab) with simple tools. It's one of the reasons I like garage sales - cheap screwdrivers that can be dremmeled (is that a word?) into submission for use as pen tools. Bread knifes work well as raw material also. As with all pen disassembly, heat and patience are your friends...

I think I want to get a new avatar and signature and title soon. I dont know exactly what though. The animated ones are tough b/c they cant be fancy. I would love some hot chick dancing around.

I think we should have a contest to see who can get the most friends in 24 hours. I dont know exactly what having a friend does? but it might be fun to see who responds. Ouch didnt want me as a friend:(
