hello fello shavers, saturday shave, loaded the sheraton with the nacet,loaded jr 282 zebrawood/badger with crabtree and evelyn lime soap and built a captains bowlful of fantastic citrusy lather,fabulous 2 combination pass shave with minor pick ups.. bbs is there..nice close shave, great razor..great blade, c and e balm and cologne to finish..have a great day folks..

Perry, I'm glad you're settled for now, and I hope your move continues easily on to completion. I'm sorry to hear about your vision troubles, and I'm praying for complete healing.

We're mostly packed and ready to go. We cleaned and mopped the garage today and will start staging full boxes out there next week. The weather looks reasonable over the next few days. If it holds, we'll get the outside items finished and be ready to move in next Saturday. We've taken our time to declutter and organize during our packing. I suspect we'll do a bit more as we unpack.

Citrus for Saturday.

Col Conk Lime - great smell. Lather is easy & good. Lacks some of the residual of soaps with amimal fats that I like. Quite capable and economical, should last a long time.

Geo. F. Trumper Extract of Limes Skin Food. - I will always have this. Can be used pre and/or post shave. Not greasy. Soothing. Has glycerin.

Pulled out the Wacker Barbers Bride. Performed flawlessly after a recent touch up. A tool made by a master in his trade has everything one could want in fit, form, and function. Lacking only in the sizzle of the pan.

Finished up with Stirling Satsuma. Now offered in Glacial menthol.

Great shave.

 

It looks good, Robert. I've never eaten chicken feet. I even steer clear of wings and go for the larger chicken pieces...too much trouble for so little meat. Do you get much meat and flavor from the feet?

 

In high school, a couple of my buddies worked at Chick-Fil-A. They had just come out with nuggets and we’re telling everyone that they had nuggets made out of pure breast meat, not chicken lips or beaks or feet. Pretty sure this was not sanctioned by headquarters, but it makes you think twice about eating the feet.

 

I'm not too worried about the feet, Randy. It's the toenails that bother me. I was never a fan of extra crispy.

 

Flavor, sure. Meat? Not so much. Mostly skin and bones.

 

Started with a custom Damascus 8/8 tonight. Pulling on 3 days growth means it goes back to the hones. Finished with a Wade & Butcher 7/8. GD Ambra and CL Delor de Treget has me smelling awesome! If I was single, all the hot single ladies would be ignoring me, but thinking to themselves “who is that old, fat guy who smells so good?”
