We did the Island Cow yesterday morning for breakfast and the plan is to go back again this morning. Ash and Brian got here yesterday afternoon so we'll take them there for breakfast.

    May 12th
    Razor: PAA DOC Ascension
    Blade: Polsilver SI (2)
    Brush: PAA Solar Flare
    Pre-shave: Stirling Mentholated
    Soap: Stirling Iced Pineapple
    Stirling Lemon Chill witch hazel
    PAA Star Jelly unscented
    AS: Stirling Iced Pineapple

    Good morning!

Today's shave was a repeat of yesterday's for the most part. Pass one had the handle backed off a 1/4 turn but passes two and three had the handle snugged down. The razor was noticeably smoother. I don't feel I sacrificed any efficiency. My face is just as smooth as yesterday's shave. I had a light tickle from the alum yesterday and complete silence today. I'll do more experimenting tomorrow.

    Have a great day![IMG]

Sounds like you are getting Copper dialed in. Have a great day! I thought the Karves were the most photogenic razors out there but Copper is giving them a run for their money.

I had a great shave from the Copper this morning. I think my Timeless Bronze edges the Copper for my most photogenic razor.
We're hoping to have a great day if we get it started. The twentysomethings are here with us now and they haven't started stirring yet. You have a great day too!

For today's shave, I ended up participating in what I might call "Backdoor Blooming". Now what is that. It's blooming without the intention to do so. Course I wet the brush a little before "diving in", but I didn't shake it off all the way. I'm not saying I SOAKED the soap, but I hadn't used it for quite a long time, thus it was on the dry side. Still was a very good shave all around. The Soap Exchange uses Kaeolin Clay(not Bentonite). Adds to the strength of the soap, I do believe(well, they both do). .

Iced Pineapple is a possibility for that REAL COLD feeling that I'd like to have for the summer. That one, or Glacial Lemon Chill.

Fuzzy responded today to my "friendly" post to him, talkinabout the youngster doing a Williams video and saying, after about 1/2 way through..."I really don't lkike this soap". He's good.(Fuzzy, not the kid).

You'd need a YEAR's supply of chia seeds&flax seeds after that.
