Autostrop B1 with a modified Gem stainless steel ptfe blade, shave 2. Shave was the same if a little better than shave 1 but much milder on the face afterwards. That first post shave irritation can be attributed to the blade needing to be broken in like they do in other SE razors when not modified.

Sat 11th/ Sun 12th May Vulfix 404 mixed Vitos Super Red ES Claymore V1 & Ikon Handle Schick Proline [ 2 & 3 ] Floid Vigoroso A/S Lotion A rather Hectic weekend, guests overnight with all of us needing to be on the road early so My Shave yesterday a bit rushed. Today am nice and early so decided to do a repeat shave with the Claymore et al. The difference in not rushing is amazing, with a better lather than yesterday the Shave was really smooth, and the quality of finish is so good. Am amazed at how this scrubby looking brush once loaded up feels like thistledown when applying the lather.
Gem MMFW Gem PTFE Although this is my least favourite of the three, all the Micromatics deliver the goods. The Flying Wing just takes a bit longer to get there. Happy Shaving one and all.
SE Sunday's Shave Cold Water Rinse Arko Extra Performance The Brush B-3 by Tom Superior Lather Catcher Vintage Gem Cutlery SE CWR Aqua Velva AS My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Arko Extra Performance Shave Cream face lathered well with The Brush B-3 by Tom. I did two passes with the Superior Lather Catcher razor with a Vintage Gem Cutlery SE blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Aqua Velva AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
My plan did not come together. This will be my before work shave tomorrow afternoon. Welcome to awesome SE shaves. The 1912 is really a great shaver. Use the cap to get the angle...keep the pressure down and charge. You may have said but what blade did you use? That is pretty normal around here you know. Veddy veddy nice!!

I go through phases, thanks. I look back on my photos in thumbnail format and there's a clear "up and down" pattern as far as light and dark goes.
The Enders/Proline combination has convinced me to give up DEs as primary tool for my head shave, it's that good. And I like the handling above the E2, Injectomatic etc. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
