Wanted to show a few of my sets. 1934 Aristocrat 1936 English made for French market Aristocrat #58 relined case by @jimjo1031 Big fellow Bostonian Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
they come up quite regularly on ebay uk, good luck.the french ones are identical as well..like your brit aristocrat..
Ah! Ok. I think I labeled my flat bottom tech incorrectly in some posts. Called it rfb. I saw a couple of the 2 piece rfb I really like in the case but I really like the ones like yours as well. Im in no rush but that’s on my list.
i have both types of rfb,the 2 piece are a little more balanced, but i can use any handle with the 3 piece.so not an issue.. my preference of course..the 2 piece are awesome shavers..
I have a bunch of Gillettes. Later this week I will be breaking out my oldest Gillette, my 1905 Double Ring. All its teeth are straight, and the handle is not cracked. It is a really cool razor. https://jrshaving.blogspot.com/2017/06/1905-gillette-double-ring.html
1956 B1 Brazilian Aristocrat De Luxe. Someone tucked in part of the lining covering the hinge. I left it alone when I got it but now it bugs me. Will fix.
Pulled it out intending to untuck the lining from the hinge area and discovered it was made that way. The case bottom is built with a light colored silk over cardboard inner lining. A bit different from the case pictured on the Mr. Razor archive.
