After some time this came in the mail. It took some back and forth, but there it was, Made in Germany. Cleaned it up and shaved with it a few times. It seemed to be slightly top heavy for my tastes, and wanting a small travle razor I hunted for a solution. Using a lighter base plate made of aluminium, this made it much better. From a Soluna razor. This is what became of it all. The nice part of this combonation is is shaves very nice and the handle nests inside for more space savings. So I now have a very nice small travle razor. Loaded with Feater blades, it has given me 3 wonderfully close, issue free and smooth shaves. Now to clean up the box and I'm ready to go. tp
Veddy nice. I found one like it in April of 2016. It was pretty cruddy, but it cleaned up well. It is a good shaver. https://jrshaving.blogspot.com/2016/04/pf-made-in-germany-travel-razor.html Before cleaning. After cleaning.
thank you sir, mine is newer i think ,rounded indents on the teeth instead of square like yours.mine has no markings either.. maybe a copy?
Got one marked Germany as well. Great shaver! Super efficient. Also have a Gillette branded one that I got as part of the 2019 travel box.
Mine is just an old peice of junk brought back to life. Sad they don't make things like this any more. I would love to have one made of aluminium, it would be very light just like I like. tp
Thanks. Mine was found without a case. I think it is post WWII. It is marked with a FP or PF on the bottom plate.
I found one on the Bay that has a case that is marked D.R.G.M. (DEUTSCHES REICHS GEBRAUCHMUSTER) on the case with the PF logo. This is pre WWII. It is a BIN so here is the link: https://www.ebay.com/itm/153458871346?ul_noapp=true
Here is a picture of mine I got about a month ago. I have not shaved with it yet. This one has no markings.
I have 3 or 4 of these. Mixes German and US. They all shave nice just the way they were made. I am pretty sure I did a video with one.
