Danny, you are the Mr. Wizard in the shaving world. Your creativity in producing Frankenrazors knows no bounds. Great shave and post!
Thank you, gentlemen! Our realtor called their agent and said we were going to go with a mutual release and the selling agent wondered why. Told her that virtually none of our requests were granted and the concession amount was completely insufficient. The selling agent had no idea what we were talking about. There was confusion. One of the sellers is also a real estate agent. Apparently something got crossed in the wind. They want to honor our requests and don't want us to break the contract. Alice and I are so confused. Today was a CRAZY day at work and I just haven't had much bandwidth to process the new development. It's a great house but the location isn't our first choice as I've said. We told them we would reply tomorrow because today was way too busy.
The ups and downs off buying or selling a house can be frustrating. Just sleep on in it and you guys will make the right decision.
Perry, I'm sorry to hear of the latest developments. Hopefully, you'll find another house soon! At least you're settled in a good place for the time being. I hope things move along well for you guys. Update: I just read the latest...hope it works out. You made a wise move to sleep on it. Keep us posted.
When it comes to closing out the deal, those with the liberty of extra time available are advantaged. Maybe you called someones bluff. I hope you find favorable results.
I have to agree. Arya hasn't killed any green eyes yet. Dany has green eyes. (Well, in the series anyway - purple in the books). By the way.....about all those parents over the past few years who have named their daughters Khaleesi or Dany............
Well, that was a complete fail. First shave with the Durham Duplex this morning. The blade was not so sharp. It tugged, something awful. I didn't even finish the first pass. The G5 injector was handy, so I relathered and started over with it. I have one more blade. Hopefully the first one was just a dud.
Taking the evening to think about it definitely a good idea. I am sure you will reach the right decision.
The $5.00 Zennister came end today. Not a bad looking head but I will not even try the handle. The handle is about 4 inches long, hollow, slick and very light. With this handle the razor is not balanced correctly and is very head heavy. I went through my handles and found that the Rockwell 6s handle felt right and the satin finish matches the top cap of the razor head. I'll give her a test drive in the morning. Take care!
I've never found a source for "good" blades for the DD razors. The ones I have found are carpet cutter level, not really all that sharp. Still fun razors to use though.
