I think this is more dependent on technique. SE blades are thicker and should be a little more durable. It all depends on the angle you use. The steeper the angle the longer the blade will last. This is why you hear people say that blades don't last as long in aggressive razors because they are usually using a more aggressive/shallower angle.

Gem or Schick injector style SE blade?

On the Gem blades I get 6 shaves out of a blade doesn't matter if they are carbon or stainless steel. I also shave 5 passes so depending how many passes you do you might get as many as 30 shaves if you are a 1 pass shaver.

    Stirling Syn. 26mm
    Arko Soap - grated stick
    Mongoose B3
    Feather Pro [ 3 ]
    Tuff Red A/S Lotion

After todays Shave with the Mongoose I feel no need to go chasing after the latest acclaimed AC/ SE Razor, because for me it delivers a really good Shave. Today, I had what was possibly my 3rd use of Arko, which when worked on by the Stirling produced a most rich creamy lather. I think it would have been extremely difficult for me to have had a poor Shave, as the Mongoose aided by the superb lather was ultra smooth, and I had no problem in attaining a super close all round finish. Must use this soap a lot more, as it lathers very well and personally I quite like the lemony scent. This was a gift, but just looked on the net and cannot believe how cheap it is in stick form, which can be easily grated into a bowl.

    Cold Water Rinse
    Tabac Shaving Soap
    Bunny B-400 by Tom
    Bunny V3
    Personna Injector
    CWR
    Tabac AS

My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Tabac Shaving Soap face lathered well with the Bunny B-400 by Tom. I did two passes with the Bunny V3 razor with a Personna Injector blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Tabac AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Thank you, gentlemen. I live out in the woods, so I thought I'd take advantage of an outdoors green shot. Here's a wide shot of the same pic. This is my back "yard". LOL.

    Personna blade
    Vie-Long Silver Tip brush
    Arko SS
    Osage Rub/Witch Hazel w/aloe
    M&L Florida Water cologne

Another day with the E3 and another fine shave. Just recently started using Arko SS again and am pleasantly surprised by the ease of lather and good performance. A low cost gem I think. My face is happy and y'all need to go enjoy your day folks

The Mark Cross with the Proline is milder than the Enders (or Dehaven) but the easiest handling. IMG_20190514_082850-01.jpg

I use the L2 for the WTG and XTG. For the \TG I use L1. The Sabre is awesome.
