Hope YOU feel better. I feel better but I do have that pot roast thats been cooking for 8 hours and its the ultimate hangover helper We had our snow jam 09 and now its melting. A good inch though Will get pics up soon.

 

Well I am glad you didn't get to shoot me, I better go into hiding before next week!

Oh, I forgot earlier... congrats on 3K, Fuzzy!

 

Just had a nice pot roast here. Light coating with canola oil, seasoned with salt and pepper, and browned in a skillet 5 min per side. Then into the crock pot on high with a can of Campbell's french onion soup. Yum.

 

You all are killing me with your wonderful sounding meals. I get whatever I can quickly throw in the oven that the picky crew will eat. :ashamed001

 

It's only 6 or so blades now. I'm stubborn; it's taken me something like 9 horrible shaves with Merkur blades to begin thinking about throwing them away. Somebody somewhere might claim they can get a good shave with a Merkur blade but I say they're lying. Not sure why they'd do that- but I just don't see how you can get a good shave from a blade that feels as blunt as my nephew's wiffle bat.

I truly love the C&E sweet almond. If you can find some, pick it up.

I'm really enjoying that colgate puck you sent me. Like you said, not as slick as Williams but still quite good.

Mmmmm.... meat. Wish I could have some o' that. It's good that Lent's only 40 days long.

 

Now that sounds good. Never thought about browning before the crock pot. I bet that brings a whole other level of flavor. :drool

Noobshave someone over on b found a whole closet full of C&ESAO and are looking for trades.

 

Picky people starve around here... I cook they eat or starve or cook something themselves.

Left out is a mini tub of frasers and nivea shave cream tube

I just noticed the TAT/nothing thread is still alive? WOW! Barely by a thread but still hanging in there. That place gives me the creeps now.

 

Plans on hold for a minute. Kids are eating lunch. Matt I love AZ Winter, Spring and Fall just like everyone else. Summer are brutal, but I'm used to them by now. The big reason for wanting to leave is more job related. Things have gone to hell here and won't be better for many years to come. I just don't have the heart to deal w/ it for the rest of my career. Besides Denver weather while worse than here, isn't that bad. It is fairly mild there most of the year too. Plus it's closer to my mom. So there; now you know my reasons. AZ is nice though. I don't blame you for wanting to retire here.

Bong I finally got around to milling the Speick and Palmolive samples you sent me. I'll shave them later in the week. I want to try the Ingrams first. Maybe later tonight. I still have one shave left on the GFT too, but I'm saving that for a special day.

 

Damn....I just saw the Fusion thread.....man them cartridge guys are defensive aren't they? Oh well....what can you do I threw my 2 cents in and walked away

I've been promising these pics for quite awhile but the damn kids keep running off w/ my dig. camera. Turns out my new cell phone takes pretty good pics. Then I had to figure out how to get them from the phone to the computer which took awhile too . Anyway the "new" shave cabinet:

 

Nice setup Shep! Not quite the same without the "O" face Shep in front of it but still pretty cool You need to do another pictorial soon btw.
