Thanks Gary, I thought about that but I'll give the Rockwell handle a try first. The balance is a lot better with the Rocky.

Beautiful shave with the Wilkinson sword classic, what a fantastic razor, definitely aimed at people looking for a lightweight travel razor or people who want to wet shave on a budget, something very few of us here can say we achieve lol.

The Wilkinson sword is a fantastic shaving razor, ill post my review on it shortly.

First shave with the Omega 49, i soaked it for 30 minutes, and then palm lathered a tiny bit of arko for about 10 minutes and the split ends are forming nicely!

    Razor: Wilkinson sword classic
    Blade: feather hi stainless (37)
    Brush: omega 49
    Soap:boots original shave stick
    Aftershave balm: aquaeous
    Aftershave:(none, night shave)[IMG]

Sorry guys I will have to try and catch up later, but at least I can catch up on my shaves.

Shave one was on a trip to Taipei and thought the razor was sharp, sadly it was not up to standards but at least I was presentable and no irritation.

    Irritation A+ Closeness B+ Smoothness A Sharpness B+

    Razor: J West
    Strop: Herold Russian Leather
    Brush: L’Occitane synth EDBIO

    Scent: Creed Green Irish Tweed

Tuesday Shave: I was pretty tired and not ready to concentrate like I need to for a SR shave. So I followed my own rules and picked up a DE and the results were outstanding.

    Razor: Karve
    Brush: 30 DC LE EDBIO
    Soap: Noble Otter

    Razor: PAA DOC Ascension
    Blade: Polsilver SI (1)
    Brush: PAA Solar Flare
    Pre-shave: Stirling Mentholated
    Soap: Stirling MITA
    Stirling Lemon Chill witch hazel
    PAA Star Jelly unscented
    AS: Stirling MITA

    Good morning!

Great shave to start the day! Three passes for near BBS with silent alum. I went with an eighth turn on the Ascension this morning. I've come to the conclusion that other than blade feel the setting doesn't affect the final result. I haven't gone passed a quarter turn yet. Messing with the razor I think 3/8th's would be about max. Anything beyond that doesn't feel as is if there's enough tension to hold the head in place. Long story short, the Ascension is a wonderful razor and I'm happy with the purchase.

    Have a great day![IMG]

Morning fellas! Got home from Northern Ga at 2 AM or so last night.

Had some fun, but too far of a drive.
I went to a few antique shops seen a bunch of vintage avon aftershave, I concluded I am not a fan, smells to much like Avon for me. Saw a few razors, at 2-10x the price I would pay, it was fun but I didnt buy anything.

It rained most of the time we were there so not a lot of sight seeing.
We did see a small waterfall.[IMG]
