    Thanks for the app referral. Photoshop user since the 90s...tried a couple the others I mentioned. Photo Lab....giving it a trial on the desktop.

    Great combination Gary! Proraso Red always starts a good day. Although I'm branching out a little with AS/Colognes....it'll still be the first full size bottle I'll empty. :bounce015:

    And....tried to catch everyone's 30DC daily post for Tuesday....if I missed someone's...apologies! It's almost a full time gig to keep up/reply. I do read 'em all though.

    Yes, THIS shaving community is awesome! Love me some TSD. I may see a few posts here and there from where DDG searches take me, but TSD is the place I call home for posting.

    Six days out of a blade. My tree stumps put a blade in a choke hold at 2.....

    Awesome memories for you and your grand daughters. And, great FB image...that and your GSB pairing making me think to drag mine out, smooth shave!

    Good afternoon, guys!
    Just completed Dovo shavette shave #68. Used my Rocky to lather the Stirling Sandalwood. Two passes, touchups, 2 tiny weeps, gave me a nice BBS w/o irritation. This shave equals the number of my traditional straight razor shaves. At one time, I had an 18 shave difference which is why I had a lot of shavette shaves. Now, I only need 32 shaves for each to be 100 shavette/100 traditional SR shaves. From here on out I will alternate the shaves equally so I won't bore you guys. Result Grade 96 = A

    Welcome to TSD and The 30 Day Crew @Artluv! Glad you jumped in, and if you haven't figured it out yet - you have both feet firmly in what we call MAYhem. It's a good idea to read Neal's @NCoxSTL first post of the thread so you'll catch the explanations, disclaimers, and cautions. The inside jokes take a while. Ask me what a Shavette Fu is some time.

    Over at Badger & Blade they have a group that pushes DE blades far as they can go. Here the 30DC suggests New Shavers change blades after 3 shaves until you can tell is getting dull. It's a Technique to remove a possible negative factor from the shaves of folks who are still "in training". But this is MAYhem so you'll see some "Sport Shaving" that includes using inappropriate or makeshift gear, or products not intended for shaving. I wouldn't push a Feather passed 5-7 shaves, but that's me (and most everyone else here except for @matthewoli98!)

    Clint, I think the answer is "YES!". Use the bar & OC on your first shave with that new razor. ;)

    That's what happens when you get "INSIDE THE QUOTES". No biggie as most of us have done it. Our 30DC member Paul @Paul Turner got so good at it, he earned his CT to immortalize it.
