Excellent report Joseph. Good luck with the hernia repair. If you get a chance check in and let us know how it went.

Love the gear Joseph. Very nice combination. Great image too! And, yeah....I don't care for ATG passes with any razor, and can't even envision 'The Fools Pass'. I just think, 'WHY!?!'. DFS achieved with WTG/XTG and facial contortions (instead of skin stretching)...is all I need. Wifey approved.

And...definitely hope it all goes well with the operation! In my thoughts.....

Flashbacks....oh my. And....is that a medium format film holder? Fun piece of equipment. Wish I had the time. Now it's all FIPS work (fix in photoshop). Although I'm still playing with DXO's Photo Lab on my MAC.

Great shave and lovely pictures. I pray for a quick recovery and don't be hard headed and do what the doctors tell you. Nothing heavier than a razor for six weeks. ;)

Yeah...several Kamisori makers I've been eyeing use the upward swing of the handle. Of course, I think it's also because the Feather Pro Guard blade looks like it has TEETH! :happy097::happy102:

Blair, that is a late 40s Omega DII enlarger. Capable of 35mm to 4x5 negatives. I have that one, another one not restored but usable, a newer D2 and a Omega 5x7 enlarger. I just need to find the time to shoot some B&W film and get back in the darkroom. There is something about being under the red light in the darkroom. Do you need an enlarger? ;) I'll cut you a good deal. You need to start down this rabbit hole.

    From my horse days.....
    Very important for adequate digestion.
I hated to sedate my horses, eventually got them to behave through dental visits.
Had a QH that I had to do at about 6 month intervals or he would start getting skinny.
I found that many equine dentists failed to float the fronts first making the correct bite impossible on some horses.
Great animals. I used to think.... Hogwash when folks talk about bonding with a horse, then I bonded with this fella.

Best trail horse I've ever ridden. His speed range was 0-10 on demand. When I stopped riding, I gave him to a woman & her daughter who spoil and adore him. Better than $ in my pocket IMO.

You do bond with them. My sons first horse was an old rescue horse that my son took wonderful care of. We lost the old man about a year ago. I cried like a baby when I took the backhoe and lowered him in the ground. You do get attached to them. I am like you, I would rather see them loved and cared for than to put a dollar in my pocket. My son's new horse was basically a companion for his other horse and was given to him by a young lady that was in a tough spot and going back to school. She just wanted a good home and to know the mare was cared for.
