Today I got in the mail a 1978-1990 era Old Spice shave mug that I bought from eBay for $20 with free shipping. Now I’m just waiting for the 3 oz OS shave soap refill that should come to my home in a few days.

New at Dollar Tree: Personal Care "Light Lather Shave Cream," made in Turkey. Says compare to Neutrogena shave cream so I have no idea if that's a good thing. First two ingredients, water and glycerin. Nice scent, have not tried yet. Probably works okay but probably clogs the razor.

I'll check with my daughter on this! She's an Inventory Manager for the company. Many times the products are a one time thing. A single shipment comes in, gets stocked, sells out, never to be seen again.

If you didn't know, Dollar Tree had purchased Family Dollar. If two stores are in the same shopping center the FD may close soon. As I hear it soon the DT stores may start carrying some products that were previously FD exclusives.

Do you have more than one store in your area? Sometimes the stores have their product line tailored to fit the neighborhood. Another location may have more selection.

 

Mailman delivered my Univinlions Salon Razor, and pack of 10 Chinese Feather Artist Club style blades. From reviews the blades are subpar so I have on order the Real Thing - Professional option. The blade holder arrived in good order double bubble wrapped and in a cardboard box, with a vinyl sleeve keeper. Build quality seems acceptable. For those that own a CJB or Feather brand kamisori style shavette it's probably about what they'd expect for less than ten bucks including shipping.
I'm going to try the supplied blades, but don't expect much. I do enjoy a Feather Hi-Stainless DE blade so I know the AC-Pro will be good when they arrive.
