I bought a tuck of Gillette a Platinums today, wondering if they were similar to Silver Blues. Very similar packaging. Can anybody describe the difference?

got 100 gillette platinum on the way, not usually around in the white box packaging and at $25 canadian shipped its not a bad deal..my friend likes them as well so he will get a few of them..

What are the differences between the normal packaged Gillette Platinums and those with Arabic writing? Any?

the white /blue box have the british address on them but are made in russia, the white/blue/silver platinum are from st petersburg. the white/blue have the arrows for dispensers long gone it seems..beyond that i am not sure .haven't done a comparison so far.. they are definitely inked on different lines..

I need more blades like another hole in my head but? If push came to shove, I'd buy a few more just to see what they were. This isn't an exaggeration but I have close to 3,000 blades.

i am at the 2600 mark as well,with more coming, but ...i will keep the favs and my buddy buys the others..

I’m definitely interested in the difference between Platinum and GSBs.

The first time I bought a 100 it was Astra Platinum and they worked really well. I was about to buy a second 100 when they were used up but went with Personna last second. Personna seems to work a little better for me but I get 5 shaves per blade instead of the 6 I got from Astra.

Both are Gillette "Platinum" and not Platinum vs Silver Blue.

I ordered a box of 100 Personnas for $ 8.24 off amazon. Why, because I never seen them that cheap before on Amazon.com

And just this morning, I ordered 50 Gillette Platinums (St Petersburg) and the reason being? They weren't cheap, they weren't a bargain but that damned "brit" got me interested in something that I wasn't interested in. How crazy is that?
