  1. Nice! It’s good to be MISTER Fancypants! I, on the other hand, will be spending time with my kids in what we call the “ghetto pool” in our backyard today. Don’t be alarmed, though. I only do these “regular” things to make myself more relatable to people unaccustomed to the ways of Fancypants living. You know, to stay humble...

    Razor: Blackland Blackbird OC
    Blade: Gillette Nacet (2)
    Brush: Montalvo/TnS Tip knot
    Pre-shave: Stirling Mentholated
    Soap: B&M Beaudelaire
    PAA Galactic witch hazel
    PAA Star Jelly unscented
    AS: B&M Beaudelaire

    Good morning!

Wonderful shave to start the day! Three passes for near BBS, light tickle from the alum. I did see a pinpoint of red peeking through the lather on my chin before pass three. Rare occasion for me to see blood these days.

First use of the TurnNShave tip knot. Another terrific not in the rotation. A wall of badger with gelled tips.

    Have a great weekend!

  3. I find that with the higher setting, I can get a more deeper angle to make shaving easier.

  13. To follow up on my earlier post in this thread, I have indeed decided to get some beard-hair going along my chin and jaw. That cut yesterday is too delicate to shave over, so I'll just let it heal, by which time I should see some "action" around it. Let's see how the "action" develops.

I'm a big fan of Blackland razors. I have the Blackbird, Dart, Sabre and Vector. I'm anxiously awaiting the slant.

  18. Limited browse time, but did see all the nice comments. Thank you everyone.

    Always great images and reports!

The AoS colognes and after shave balms.... They do have most of the usual popular fragrances. It looks like there are more size options and fragrance choices on their website vs the store in the Dallas Galleria. I gave them a throw away email address and there are some incentives that appear worthwhile. HTH!
