Sounds like a nice and much needed morning. The Tatara looks great with the wood handle of the Zenith. I would not think that the Tatara would match the wood but it pairs great together.

 

Even at 93 it still sounded like a nice shave. Take care Joe.

Very nice shave this evening with a bit of a chill to it.

 

I don't think I loaded it enough. It has been a while since I have used it. I'll get some Williams out and play with. I have had good results with it in the past. I attribute it to driver error.

My last shave was Monday, so I had a fairly thick stubble to get rid of again. The TOBS cream provided its usual great lather even though I underloaded the brush for a boat knot after using synthetics for a couple months. Mr. Taylors is one of my favourite scents, being sandalwood with various spices, woods and florals mixed in. Two passes with the humble old Tech then had me back to DFS without any fuss.

It's a busy work weekend for me, but I now feel clean and refreshed as I continue to answer calls.

I have several videos that show this. A good technique allows you to use different razors without the shave changing really. All the little differences iron out and a razor becomes a razor. A tech shave is just as smooth as a single ring shave with proper technique.

I like that quote by the way! I go back and learn things everyday.
