As a matter of fact, WW's name for the color theme is "Party on Bourbon St."

 

I avoid New Orleans like the plague. Less then 2 hours away though. Great theme for a brush.

Beautiful shave today, another stunning performance from the fatip piccolo, definitely without question my favourite razor, it cuts through hair like a hot knife through butter.

A stunning performance from the omega 49 and the malt n myrtle, this brush does very well with hard soaps, but id recommend face lathering for the first few shaves until the bristles soften a bit.

The Wilkinson sword blade was perfectly sharp even after its 5th use, and paired with the Fatip gave me a perfect BBS shave after two passes with a few touch ups.

The Brut by faberge is a fantastic aftershave, so glad we still find tons of it in South Africa, and its dirt cheap too!

Congrats on the CT, John! Looks like it originated a few days ago.

 

@wchnu would barely eke out a C- on your grading scale since he uses Williams and takes five passes with a witch hazel cleanup.

Charlie, it was getting ridiculous. (Still is, but looks neater). I basically "gave" away these items, pennies on the dollar. I can't emphasize enough to the 's, unless you're made of money, DO NOT FALL DOWN THIS RABBIT HOLE.

Don't know why, but....

Reminds me of the story of two young men who were friends for life as well as very successful business partners.

When the first passed away, the business partner was chatting with another mutual lifetime friend at the funeral home.

Their discussion came around to their great business success and how frugally the deceased always maintained his lifestyle. The mutual friend talked about how the deceased always joked about "taking it with him". To which the business partner who was known to live somewhat lavishly replied, "well he did". The bewildered look from the mutual friend then brought the needed clarification, "I wrote him a check for his half of the business, and stuck it in his pocket", as he slightly nodded towards the deceased friend.
