Evening Shave Freaks.

Got my shipment in tonight from Paul at Connaught so now I just have to find some sample containers and free samples of Connaught Shave cream will be going to whomever wants them. You guys think I could get away with putting a sample container inside of an envelope and mailing it that way? The Indian Sandalwood that Paul sent smells pretty darn good.

Also got some Mitchell Wool Fat. Took it for a test run and practice lathered it. Holy exploding mounds of soap. I look forward to using it tomorrow.

Hey Tracy! I agree on that Sandalwood. Very nice. What scents did you get? I am curious about a couple if you happen to have them.

I have a puck of MWF and haven't used it in months. It just wasn't for me. I should try to trade it for Tabac or something.

 

I think letter envelopes get run through a roller system Tracy which might crack the container. Get the small bubble mailers instead. They are cheap postage too albeit not .45 cents or whatever letter postage is today.

Put me down for some of that Orange Connaughts.

I got Indian Sandalwood, Tea Tree, Peppermint, Almond (I may have to snag that one), and Unscented.

Sorry Shep no Orange in this batch. However, I will getting the other scents in the next few weeks or so.

Oh these are not for me. These are for all of you guys and gals to try. I am just the middle man. I will be posting a thread in the next week or so for free samples. Paul always wanted to give out free samples but it is a little hard and expensive when it includes overseas shipping.

 

Good night folks. Damn stuffy nose set in so I am about to take a double dose of medicine so I can sleep well. Nyquil gave me very bad dreams last night. Tracy...hope you enjoy the MWF....good stuff! Smell aint nothing to brag about but works wonders.

 

Ha! That would be interesting. Don't do patrol anymore however. That was in another life. I'm more of an intel type now.

 

Night Shawn. Nyquil just knocks me on my arse, I don't think I even dream.

I think I like the smell of the fat better than Tabac. I will have to use it a few times to see if the scent gets better, worse or nothing.

 

It occurs to me I never have tried those cream samples you sent in the trade.. Just sniffed the Connought sweet orange.. mmmm yummy. Perhaps that will be in tomorrow's line up. So I can guesstimate my loading better, how many shaves would a normal person get out of one of those samples?

Makes sense to me. Let me try this sample of sweet orange and I may be interested in the tea tree, peppermint, and/or almond. Thanks for the offer and thanks for Paul for working to get this set up as well.

 

I would love to try lemon, orange and almond if you get them in sometime. I love their creams.

Get well Shawn. The baby was up all last night w/ the sickies. She kept trying to stick her hands in my mouth which surely would have nuked me, but I cut her off at the pass. So far no sniffles knock on wood.
