    Thanks Joe. You can lock the butter knife handle in great to the head. I would not want to shave with it every day but it is fun every now and then.

    It's interesting that the last two or three times I had a beard, I came to quick conclusions to just lose'em. It kind of describes who I am as a man anyway..growing up I never was a "trend-follower"......I was satisfied with myself as I was.

    Sure do Joe. Similar to finding the angle using Riding The Cap with a DE. The handle on my Chinese kamishavette / pain stick has the up swept curve common for these, and a slight squarishness. With more use I'll better develop an intuition for the indexing to know the best angle of attack. Like an SR with a 4/8 wide blade there's less there to visually clue to how far off my face the spine it lifted. Also like most shavettes the blade is thin giving little of the warning a SR announces before drawing blood. I've not owned a shavette that covered the heel & toe but I do know how to mute the corners giving that SR round toe perceived safety.
    Should I choose to do 30 days or since I tends to shave every other day - 30 shaves, I'll have rediscovered my neglected open blade Technique. I'm only 3 shaves in with this new to me format. I don't count the first use with the Chinese blades that came with the razor since they were substandard. If I get 8 shaves per blade, I'll be good until Tuesday March 30, of 2020. Considering my sticktoitiveness & history for Rules/Foci, and up and coming monthly themes more likely I'll need to order more blades in '21.
