I have used 3 different Synthetic flattop knots now, Danny, and by far the best of the bunch is the AP Shave Co one. I got both a Tuxedo-like and a shorter lofted one on eBay (ds cosmetic I believe) that we’re not of the same quality.

I think all of them think that.

A fine shave to start the long holiday weekend. I used the Savonniere du Moulin in stick form again this morning. The CH2 synthetic is a great brush for using a shave stick whipping up the later in short order. I changed out the SB plate for the OC plate for the weekend. I can say that the OC plate with its larger gap has more blade feel and a wider operating angle. Three passes and touch ups ended in a perfect BBS. A splash of CC Bay Rum and I am ready for the day. Swati, Maya and I are going to Dahlonega for a short hike this morning and checking out some sites as well. I hope everyone has a great Saturday.

Fixed it. I am running short on coffee this morning.
