When I'm giving my pipe a rest, I'll go through a period of smoking just cigars ( I always have a few in my humidor). I smoked Fuentes for years until they got crazy expensive. Believe it or not, they used to be a value smoke, only slightly more than a bundle stick. My value cigar for the past few years is the Flor De Oliva Toro at $38 a bundle.
In the early nineties, I smoked Curly Heads! Because they were cheap, and I was young and more poor than now.
Been through my fair share of Curley Heads, especially when the price for my Cuban Coronas and 8-5-8's started going through the roof. They had the same Cameroon wrapper as their other cigars and, I believe, were made with much of the same tobacco -- maybe scraps from their regular cigars? But now, even they go for $70-80 a box. I used to pay around $30 a box (25) for Cuban Coronas.
Looks good. Did you get those at Famous Smoke Shop? They have a great selection of value bundles, many made by top companies. Some under their own brand.
They are from Smoker Friendly, a Colorado based tobacco retail chain, made under contract by Davidoff.
I sat out on the porch this afternoon watching the rain and hail with a very well aged La Flor Dominicana. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
