Travel Saturday SOTN

My Buccos didn't win tonight, but that didn't distract from my shave back at the hotel. A wonderful cool water shave with this Super Iridium blade (9th) with a Razorock GC 68 on a travel Apollo handle. It's quite the compact travel razor this way. Happy shaves all!

Not a favourite blade of mine but I find the Red Ring brings out the best in most blades.

Razor/Blade:- Gillette Red Tip (0.81mm) 1950's England / Vintage NOS Gillette Stainless #4
Post-shave:- T.N. Dickinson Witch Hazel Astringent mixed into the 240ml bottle with Natural Glycerin (20), Tea Tree Antiseptic (10), Lavender (15) & Peppermint (10 drops)
Fragrance:- Proraso Wood & Spice

 

SOTD:
A beautiful shave today with Arko, i hereby declare the next week is officially arko week for me, i absolutely love this stuff.

The Wilkinson sword blade is still working perfectly even after shave number 11. Its an absolutely fantastic blade, very smooth and i suspect it's because its teflon coated.

The Fatip piccolo performed extremely well as it always does, i think ill keep using this razor for about a month or so and then go back to my normal rotation.

A nice shave, today. But not an exceptional one...
Probably the Russian Bear does not get along with the Carioca razor!
Lab Series performed perfectly, as usual, but, after improving my shaving skills, i prefer an alcoholic kick on my face!

My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Morning TOST Shave Soap face lathered well with the Oscar11 Synthetic brush. I did two passes with the J.A. Henckels Lather Catcher razor with a Henckels wedge blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Barbasol Brisk AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
