DSC04143-resize.jpg I found an old Schick injector razor in my drawer today and was wondering what it is and can you still get cartridges for it?
I have trouble shaving under my nose with a razor with a large head and thought this might work if I can find cartridges.

Not an Injector. They take a single blade, or with later models a twin blade that slides in from the side using this kind of blade package.

That a Cartridge type. I'm not familiar with them, so I'll let someone else drop those details.

Sorry, it is a cartridge razor not an injector. Do they still make cartridges for it?

The white tab was used to push out shaved hairs to clean between the blades. I had one, many years ago, really didn't work out that well. Better to stick with regular cartridges.

It's possible. I looked on Amazon and saw several Schick brand cartridge styles. We need someone with experience to chime in and give model types so you can get the right kind.

I might just try a Gillette Atra which seems to be highly regarded here. Either that or look for a mustache razor.

Super II Ultrex or Super II Ultrex Plus (lubricating strip) are available as NOS. Ebay has them pop up once in a while.

I would, a much better product.

Yep. I don't have a dog, or in this case a walrus (mustache) in this fight.
I try to keep it trimmed up out of my coffee...

Me too, Fuzzy. You know TSD is a Full Service shaving station. A Cart Guy will show up and dump the data. Maybe you should tell @DaveO about Schicks!

The razor looks like it is a Schick clone of the Atra.

If it will accept an Atra cartridge, I might look for some cartridges. Do they still sell the cartridges in drug stores and Walmart?

Yes, look for the generic two-blade carts; they usually fit both Atra and Trac II. US-made ones are Personna, Vietnam/Korea-made ones are Dorco. Both are decent.

Yes, it can use Atra type cartridges. I use the Personna blades from Amazon. In fact I used one this morning on a Gillette Trac II. My Schick Super II will be up next shave.

It looks like you can buy injector blades, but unless you go to ebay or another site you can't seem to buy the razor itself.

I just found the Bunny injector razor at Supply Provision Co that someone mentioned on here. I'll wait for a while and think about it because I just received my Karve DE razor and have not tried it yet.
