Sunday evening May 26 - neglected creams Supply Co Single Edge on two-dot plate / unknown blade of unknown # of uses Alpha T-400 aluminum badger brush Renaissance Faire style horn quaich lather bowl ProRaso Blue shave cream (aloe vera and vitamin E) Alum and Lucky Tiger I think the Blue is my least favourite of the four traditional ProRaso creams. (I haven't had a chance to try the three newer Single Blade creams yet). The Blue bowl lathers easily and performs well but has a rather odd herbal scent. Two easy passes with the injector took me down from scruff to an excellent DFS. I am still concentrating on remembering to use short strokes and found that this improves the injector shaves too. A splash of Lucky Tiger finished off a great shave.
Great minds think a like, I also used the Lemon Chill soap. I would love to help but the jet is in the shop. Oh yeah Now that is how to finish off after some good food.
Good looking travel setup, Jason. Beautiful brush. Congrats on making it to the finals. Sent from my SM-T800 using Tapatalk
May 27th Razor: Cooper Monobilt Blade: Rapira Swedish Supersteel (2) Brush: Grizzly Bay Constitution Pre-shave: Stirling Mentholated Soap: WSP Barbershop PAA Galactic witch hazel PAA Star Jelly unscented AS: Fine American Blend Wonderful shave to start the day! Three passes with touch up in the hollows of my neck. Near BBS with extra warmth from the alum where I chased the baby on my neck. First use of the WSP Formula T. Very slick stuff with nice post shave feel. The Barbershop scent smells like Fine American Blend to my nose so that was the chosen aftershave. Have a great Monday and Memorial Day! The brush is gorgeous Jason. Congrats to your son for a successful Tournament. They had a good coach.
