Do you keep a shave kit for travel at the ready?

Recently, on very short notice, I had to travel and I had to throw together a shave kit to take with me. Normally this requires considerable thought and a couple of days of pre-planning.

Do you keep a Dopp kit with shave gear ready to go at a moments notice? If so, what is in your kit?

Yes I keep a dopp kit ready to go. I keep either a valet AutoStrop. It has a small badger brush, a couple extra blades, and either a cake of Williams, or Green Mountain soap.
I recently got a metal case that has a 3 piece Gillette ball end tech. It's great to use that one as well.

My Dopp Kit contains what I need to shave. The only thing I do before a trip is put a blade in the razor.

    YES!
I have a leather shaving bag I got at a yard sale. I put a brush, travel razor, blades, shaving soap, bar soap, beard brush, tooth brush, tooth past........
Funny you posted this today, I am at a hospital because of a relitive here.
I grabbed my dopp kit, 2 spare changes of clothes, my meds, and hit the road. I keep it ready and in a special cabinet so I know where it is at. I found that to make sure you have every thing in your kit, use only your kit for a week to get ready for the day. As you find things you don't have, put them in so you can live out of it for a week. You'll be surprised how little you need for a week.
In the morning I'll take a picture and post it here.

I found some pictures on my phone I did on a quick run one day. There is more in the bag but you can get the drift of my kit. I have changed some things mostly just different razors and soap.

I keep a kit fully stocked at all times. The only thing I don't keep in the kit is a brush, and that's because I tend to use the same brush at home as I do for travel.

    Toothbrush
    Toothpaste
    Floss
    Mouthwash
    Deodorant
    Gillette Fatboy
    Bigalow & Parkins travel razor
    Tuck of Astras
    Shampoo
    Bodywash
    Travel size pouf
    Witch hazel
    Aftershave
    Spare batteries
    Tube of shaving cream
    Mini Lather bowl
    Folding shaving mirror
    Q-Tips
    A couple of napkin/TP packs from MRE's
A couple tubes of Vietnamese instant coffee
(I hate instant coffee, but the viet stuff ain't half bad).
    Nail trimmer
    Beard comb
    Couple Tylenol
    Allergy meds
    A bandaid or two
    A folding hairbrush
    A small Swiss army knife

If I'm flying, the swiss army knife and the DE blades come out.

In case of complete societal collapse, one needs to know first and foremost that he will be clean shaven. Faced with mass reversion to savagery and probable systematized cannibalism, an AAS (apocalyptically acceptable shave) with appropriate moisturizing and fragrance are paramount. After all, one may have no choice but to become a savage, but one never has to look like a savage.

I have 2 travel kits, one general grooming, one shaving.
I won't elaborate on the general kit as it doesn't pertain to shaving.

In my shaving dopp bag, I have:
1.) Small stainless steel camping mirror
2.) Small suction cup to hang mirror from
    3.) Small bottle pre-shave oil
4.) Collapsible pet bowl for lathering
5.) Small synthetic shave brush in old prescription bottle
6.) Either Tabac stick or Nivea Shave Cream (varies)
    7.) Maggard V3/MR1 DE razor
    8.) Tuck of Derby Extras
    9.) Nick Stick
    10.) 2oz. bottle of Dickinson's WH
11.) 2oz. bottle of Nivea Men PSB

Regarding my razor/blades choices, on the road I'm more interested in being drama-free than immaculately shaven.

So true. I mean, really...we do have standards to uphold. And to go out, even running from the zombie hordes, unshaven is unthinkable.

And clean shaven is more aerodynamic! Let the soft bearded hipsters in their fake logging boots encounter wind drag and succumb to the hordes of undead. Not we, the fleet and baby smooth!

At one time we were all concerned about the shaveapocalypse...the mythical day in the future when all shave products would disappear from the face of the earth. A long shot, but a good enough reason for most of us to justify buying and hoarding shave gear. But as it currently stands even corner drugstores are stocking basic shave gear, so the immediate threat seems to have passed. Now, perhaps more than ever, we need to be worried about a more ominous apocalypse...the real apocalypse...the zombie apocalypse. I think the fact they are making more TV shows about zombies is nature's way of preparing us for the future.

Not sure where you live but the drug stores where I live don't stock anything but carts and canned cream.
You might get a razor blade if they aren't out of them, they normally stock at least two packs of them.
You can buy a cheap shaving soap but find a brush to use it with will force you to amazon or the like. Yea well, if I don't bring what I need, I dont have it. Ok so I'm 150 miles from home and still couldn't find a razor to use. I looked at some places like you said, but came up empty.
I did find the gillette tube of shaving cream I wanted to try, but that's as close as I got.
So the shaving products that might be gone, never was here, well maybe in 1950 I could have found them.
So yes I brought mine with me.

I’m set. 1967 Gillette Slim, arko stick, travel brush. If the apocalypse happens I’ll probably be found in my den dead from trying to decide which ones to save.

This is why I am trying to put together an emergency "out the door fast" shave kit. It takes me so long to make decisions. A typical travel arrangement usually requires a week of planning for what shave gear to take with me.

I have that kit for travel. But if I knew I was going to be bugging out for good then I’d never get out of here. I couldn’t leave all of them! Lol.

I have the following in my grab pack on short notice:
    1967 Gillette slim adjustable
Reknotted (thank you @jimjo1031) Rubberset travel brush
Arko stick in Pear aluminum tube
    Tuck of Astra sp
    Small bottle of witch hazel

    This is my shave kit.
I also carry my other bag with essentials (toothpaste, shampoo, soap, etc.)
