    I surprised myself . That thing shaved close and smooth. All i could picture was blood and everyone in the house saying " It was bound to happen eventually ". Gives me the incentive to make something more dangerous.

    Best shave of the month! Will spend the week with this until the blade dulls. Still raining here in a lazy Monday. Other than that...all is quiet in Colorado.

    Actually, I had planned to avoid MayHem this year but might have just put myself accidentally in line for an award -- I used Osage Rub today for my post shower shave, then absentmindedly scratched the family jewels before washing my hands off. I see now what Adam @Drygulch meant by "snowballs": it's not noticeable at first but then builds in intensity rather painfully... I sure won't make that mistake again!

    Monday evening May 27 - Uber Menthol Monday

    Canadian Gillette Pre-War triangle slot fathandled Tech / Lab Blue (4)
    Jason's cypress badger brush
    Renaissance Faire style horn quaich lather bowl
    ProRaso Green shaving cream (menthol and eucalyptus oil)
    Alum and Osage Rub

    For Monday, I naturally went with the Green version of ProRaso. All four classic ProRaso creams perform very well, but I think Green is my favourite, followed by Red (sandalwood). Two refreshing coats of lather preceded two good passes with the Tech, leaving me with a near-BBS DFS. The Personna Lab Blue is still going strong after four outings now. It pairs superbly with the Tech. (Although, to be honest, almost all blades pair beautifully with the Tech...)

    After an invigorating shave with the menthol/eucalyptus oil Green shave cream, I naturally finished with the equally invigorating menthol/eucalyptus oil Osage Rub. Brrr!

    Then, after a so-far great post shower shave, I completely ruined the mood by over-invigorating myself by absentmindedly scratching in a delicate area before rinsing off my hands. It doesn't feel bad at first but then builds until Yow! "Snowballs" indeed, Adam @Drygulch! I certainly will never ever make that mistake again!
