Oh wow......and come to think of it was the one who sent mine. I didn't know they'd be in smaller sizes, but is yours a sample?

Now that you don't commute 3 miles to work, you probably CAN do a daily shave.

    Razor: Gillette Goodwill 1931 OC
Blade: Personna 74 Tungsten Steel (23)
Brush: H.L. Thater 4125 Black Premium White Boar
    Soap: Proraso Green Cream
    Folsom & Co. Shady Past
    Bowl: Boise Blue Bowl

It was a great month of shaves with creams, Open Comb razors, and Folsom & Company vintage aftershaves. The Personna 74 Tungsten Steel blade continue to impress. I know that my beard isn't as course as it used to be, but still 23 shaves with one blade, come on. The H.L. Thater 4125 performed very well and is a great brush. The creams for the month worked out well.

Beautiful photo and lineup Amigo. I’m sorry to see Folsom & Co no longer making aftershaves.

Thank you, Andrew! I am a staunch supporter of Stirling Soap Co. I have used up the Sandpiper sample that you piffed me. I use it when headshaving because the scent doesn't do it for me. The Sandalwood is fine, but it isn't my best scent. The Glastonbury has a nice scent, but I wish it was stronger so I am somewhat disappointed with it. Bay Rum, Coconut Lime are very good scents and the Piacenza and Satsuma are off the chart scents for me. The Williams, VDH Luxury and Moon Soap Havana are function soaps that I use to refreshen my brushes. I use Aqua Velva and Old Spice when lathering with these soaps. Getting back to Stirling, I would think there are some scents that I may not like such as Barbershop because it has a powdery smell. The descriptions of some of the dupe scents doesn't help me because it just states that it is a copy of such and such brand. Well, if I don't have the brand, then I don't have a reference so I am leery to buy some of these dupe soaps. Now, I may buy a fall/winter scent like the pine scent, but that remains to be seen. I like Sterling because of the scents, easy lathering and price. I have read the reviews of different brands of soap from TSD members, but I find them too expensive for my taste. Again, I want to thank you Andrew, for leading me to Stirling.

The samples are a great way to try new scents. Though these days I just buy full containers because I know that if I dont like a scent I can resell it. It's rare that I don't like a Stirling scent though.

I am sure that 90% of them are good. Question, what would you consider the fall/winter scents and all year round scents?

I tend to like the fruity scents in the spring and summer and the sweeter heavier scents in the fall and winter. I consider the cologne dupes year around. Here are a few suggestions.

    Year around:
    Deep blue Sea
    Sandpiper
    Executive man
    Ramblin Man

    Spring/Summer :
    Iced Pineapple
    Coconut Lime
    Dunshire
    Gin and Tonic

    Fall:
    Arkadia
    Spice
    Haverford
    Agar
