Skosh. Smidgeon. Great descriptions and measurements for many generations. Like. Totally. You. Know. OMG. <the generation that doesn't.
May 31st GEM MMOC Castle Forbes Lime SC TGN Finest/Maple handle Thayers 'Enhanced' Florida Water I guess I'm on a bit of a Lime kick as the weather has gotten warmer. Jeeves Key Lime yesterday and now the Castle Forbes today. This is straight up Lime to my nose, just like a fresh cut one. I smeared it on my face and proceeded to face lather it with a too-wet brush. Still got a decent lather, but I didn't ring the brush out enough when I started. Nice 3 pass shave regardless. Opened up the weeper on my lower neck from yesterday enough that I had to dig out my styptic. Don't know the last time I used it-3 months? 5 months?- but I couldn't even find it a first. Oh Well. I've gotten decent results from the MMOC, but I just don't feel like it will ever be a true favourite, fwiw. I wasn't very focused this month. I did try to focus on some neglected products and did have a run with the oft neglected EJ 89, one of my Techs, this MMOC and others. I also thinned the herd a bit by making a few combos up for a friend and my father in law. I'm down a few vintage Gillettes, a brush and several tucks of Russian steel. All is good. I wasn't able to keep up very consistently with the thread, especially given the MAYhem theme. I'll try to do better in June! Have a great day all!
Blair, Thank you as well. It has been great following along with you and that wrapped DX steals the show every time!
Thank you Clint. Both, Paul. Here it is pictured with my single-most regrettable sale of any shave item I have ever owned, a magnificent 2014 CH3 Manchurian Badger in Briar.
Jason, I thought you keep up very well. I also enjoyed your pictures and following along. Looking forward to next month.
