This will be a difficult month for you to shave without your most favorite razors, Danny.

I was thinking the same thing such as jerry-rigging which is the same as juryrigging depending on what part of the country you lived in.

No theme for July last year, other than CINCO DE JULIO!!, our annual day of shaving with popsicle stick razors, for those so inclined. When I have tried to add a theme for each month, two months in particular have proven difficult to theme. June and July. "Just the Basics June" grew out of a discussion last year to have a month of using the basic and simple gear, sort of in opposition to "Decadent December". It could have been either June or July, as the alliteration works with either. I just went back through a bunch of notes that I made on themes and other such things (yes, I really do have a notebook or two full of thoughts that were once in my head about this group....obsess much?!) and discovered that I have never successfully themed both.

Given the fact that August begins a run of solid themes to the end of the year (Adjustable August, SEptember, OCtober, NOVember and Decadent December) I think leaving July theme free, except for the 5th, is appropriate. We can tie in the theme of independence with the celebration here in the USA, and allow ourselves a month of absolutely no themes other than what we ourselves choose before heading back into it in August. How's that sound?

I had sort of a hybrid shave this morning. Started with the Gravjura, switched to the G5 injector halfway through. Why? Someone was waiting for me. It was my intention to not hurry. But the second pass left me with several weepers, so I guess I was hurrying. So I went ahead and switched, and the rest was uneventful.

Ole Mrs.Grundy lives next door to me . We havent had problems with her since I moved in here but she hates all the things I like and they say opposites attract. Actually she was my grade 6 teacher and I dont think she recognizes me yet. In the past she complained daily about the lawn here or music or properly lines , etc.
I drove over her property line with the mower tonight( not on purpose) so things may change tomorrow. Our mailbox is on our house so no worries there . I'm too redneck to live in an area with a HOA .
