My bike usually stays at home when there's fresh snow or ice out. They do a really good job here at keeping the roads clear, so it's rare that I'm not able to ride.

Hell... a B.B. gun would do fine. I think I'd actually enjoy it and would probably go out on my bike even more.

 

that's why I moved almost an hour away...

Yeah, the Inner Harbor is a nice area, and most of downtown is, too. But once you get out of the business district and into the residential areas.... spooky stuff inside Just like most other major metropolitan areas.

 

Well.. just got home.... Wife and daughter are at grandparents for the weekend. Took advantage of the fact and stopped off and local establishment to spend time with co-workers after practice. 3 Pints of Guinness later and I am at home and everything is Brilliant!:happy102

I don't know how long I will stay at the computer. I know I was tempted to shave again tonight like Bong suggested. However, I don't think that would be a very brilliant idea at the moment.

It was a fun happy hour. For the record... 1.5 liters of Guinness is much more enjoyable than 3 liters of Faygo.

I had 2 pints of guiness today on the way back from the parents......oh it felt good! Had 5 more when I got home and i think i am not sick? Woo hoo! 6 days sober caught up quick

 

I guess I will have to ignore. I can think of a number of things ICP could stand for and none of them make sense in that sentence.

I'm more of a Smithwick's man myself, when I drink those types of beers.

 

ICP= Insane Clown Posse. They're a washed up mid 90s rap act composed of two middle aged white guys. Their fanbase is cult-ish and do various odd things to identify themselves, one of which is drinking Faygo. I wish I was making this up.

I was just loading up my R89 with my last 7 O'Clock black. When I thought I would try something. The Fatip head had a different size thread than standard so you can't use this head on any other handle. or another head on this handle. However, I went ahead a did a comparison, yes you can put an old style cap through the base plate of the older R89. This means the comb of the older R89 can be used on other razors and the handle can be used on an Old Style (or maybe New Improved) it you just use its cap. The R89 cap is maybe a mm narrower from cutting edge to cutting edge so it may make an old style a bit more aggressive. Another observation was the old R9 head is wider so less of the blade sticks out the ends for all those ppl who keep asking about wider razors, here is an example of one.

I am excited to find out that I can use the R89 handle on the Old Style. I wish I had a New Improved to check, but I don't know why it wouldn't work as long as the pins were in the same location (and to use the same blade they would have to be). The R89 handle is 34 grams compared to the 24.5 gram ball end Old Style.

 

OK.. .I had heard of them.. I just didn't know the Faygo thing,...

Hey folks I ended up out at moms today working in the garden.. got the peas planted and pulled some Turnips. My roomie cleaned the house for her. that much less that she might try to do on her own. I went by the Dollar tree on the way home. and of course they do not have any of that cheap-o blue AS grrrrrrrrr.


So what else is cooking.. oh I got inthe Red Tip that Noob sent me. I now have to figure out how to tweek the safety bars to get them back straight.. IT is not apparent to me at first glance.. but this is a nice looking razor thanks Mike.

 

Well just finished my second shave of the day. This time R89 with 7 O'Clock Black - and yes, this is an awesome razor. I would easily place it between the Old and New in terms of aggression and closeness. I like.

I think I have gotten the red tip straighted out.. Maybe for lucky and tweeked the right thing the right way first try.
