Thank you! When I was in Louisiana I would do the same thing with Yuingling. They did not sell it west of Mississippi.
June 5th Razor: Gillette Blue Tip Blade: SuperMax Blue Diamond (2) Brush: Zenith boar Pre-shave: Stirling Mentholated Soap: Williams Mug Soap Stirling Orange Chill witch hazel PAA Unscented Star Jelly AS: Stirling Pharaohs Dreamsicle Williams Wednesday! Good morning! Wonderful shave to start the day! Three passes with touch up left me near BBS. Light tickle from the alum. My wife was blow drying her hair while I was shaving thus necessitating the touch up. I really need the audio feedback with this razor. Have a great day! Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
June 5 Good morning, everyone! I just finished shaving with my Rockwell T. I decided to use a new Voskhod blade. I also went with Piacenza soap because it is my favorite and quite frankly, I want the best experience possible for my first run. Also used the Rockwell synthetic brush just to keep the theme somewhat consistent. Made a great lather and that smell is awesome. Did WTG, ATG and XTG and ended with a BBS+ shave without nicks, cuts, weepers and irritation. This was the best shave that I have gotten ever! Guys, this razor is the real deal! I only needed to put it on setting 5 and it was like I wasn't shaving. I will add more to this report later. I just want to give the results of my shave ASAP. "Talk" to you later, and have a great day!
Thanks, Clint! I am at school so I had to shorten my Model T report. However, after work, I will give more details on it.
It's new, made by Alpa, in Czech Republic. Intended to have a throwback vibe. Mostly rockabilly clothing shops seem to carry it. I guess the blue is an Aqua Velva scent. Not too strong to my nose. I just noticed that the scent notes that they give are identical to what basenotes lists for Aqua Velva. There's also a green. I don't know whether it's a clone of anything I'd recognize. https://pomadeshop.com/en/brands/dapper-dan/dapper-dan-grooming/831/dapper-dan-after-shave-blue http://www.basenotes.net/ID26120117.html
