    Hi everyone, once again!
I have 2 periods off and therefore I have enough time to finish my first report of the Rockwell Model T.

Aesthetics: Pros : The razor is beautiful. The pictures that I uploaded doesn't do it justice. I have the gunmetal finish and it was done very well. The handle is longer than the 6C or 6S which doesn't concern me, although I have small hands, because I choke up on it. Men with larger hands would like it. The knurling is the same as the other razors except for the gaps on the bottom of the handle.
Cons: The setting numbers are large and are painted white. The pointer is also painted white. Unfortunately, it is hard to see the numbers and pointer if the light isn't bright or you have the razor tilted toward you or away from you. It also could be my eyes. Lol!
Anyway, it would have been a better look if both were painted black.
Underneath the head of the razor, you will see circular molding marks which isn't a big deal because who intently looks at the bottom of the head of the razor?

Performance: The razor is heavier and it feels like I am not shaving at all. I don't have to put any pressure on this razor to get a great shave. The balance is fine, but the weight is concentrated on the head which accounts for a nice glide on the face and neck.
My first shave with 30 hour stubble was BBS+ and it was the best shave ever. This razor is more agressive than the 6C. Setting 6 has a wider gap than plate 6 on the 6C. I used setting 5 on the T.

    Mechanical:
Pros: There are an infinite amount of settings because the dial does not click at a specific number. You can dial it anywhere between any 2 number settings and that is one major difference in this adjustable.
The doors open and close evenly.
Cons: There are 2 many turns to open and close the silo doors to my liking and at first, I thought something was wrong. However, Big D commented on the Rockwell Model T thread that this helps to keep the blade in place. Ok, as long as somebody said that it was normal, than I am ok with it, but I prefer closing it in less turns. Turning the setting dial is difficult when going to a higher setting than going to a lower setting. This may be due to the fact that the razor needs to be broken in and it will loosen up with more shaves. If it doesn't, then it's no biggie.
Conclusion: Although it is my first Model T shave, I am quite impressed and would recommend it to anyone that is interested in a great safety razor. The only problem is you have to wait a long time to receive it.
Tonight, I will give this razor a real test by shaving my head that has 3 to 4 days growth and it will tell me if this razor really is all that. Will keep you posted on tonight's head shave and then it will end my report with this razor. Until then, have a great day!

    Seaforth!~~Rubberset 400/3~~1941 Gillette Ranger Tech~~City~~Aqua Velva
Grabbed some old items this morning. I believe the youngest is the Aqua Velva at about 37 years.
The Ranger Tech is 78 years old.
The Rubberset 400/3 is at least 62 years old.
The Seaforth Soap could be about 60-70 years old.
Not everything this old is as good as some things we have today.
The Rubberset 400/3 (new Omega knot) is...
    The Ranger Tech...mos def is...
    The Aqua Velva is...
The Seaforth soap...verdict is still out on this one. Here's why.
    Twice I have used this soap and twice the lather has been too airy. I have added more water;
    I have punched down the lather (works a bit);

I have employed my MWF trick of rubbing the lather into my face.
The lather does not dissipate quickly, so that's not an issue.
The lather is pretty slick, so that's not an issue.
Maybe there isn't an issue and this is how this soap behaves.
Next time, I am going to go directly to the face rather than bowl lather. That always produces a less-airy lather.
The RT felt really tiny in my hand. The City blade is a middling-quality blade. A bit tuggy, so it's gone buh-bye.
Shave results were surprising, however: NO BETTER, NO WORSE than my SR results!

Same residual stubble on the neck and BBS everywhere else.
That speaks volumes to my advancement with SR shaving.
Eschewed the Alum and the Thayer's and went directly to the AV.
    All-in-all a very nice shave.

Terrific picture and report, Joseph! Congratulations on the progress you've made with your straights! That's something that you can get the same shave with any tool you decide to use.

2.5 passes for a Berry nice shave.
For those who enjoy the wet in wet shaving, and are not afraid of the scorn available, go ahead and water down that Barbasol, you will be surprised at how much it takes.

Beautiful gear and picture Joseph. I have never seen the "one-piece tech razor" nomenclature for a twist to open. Very interesting.
