Schick Hydro Magic I 2 with (S)chick blade, shave 2.

First shave was better but this shave was right up there with the best SE razors I own. I just need to get used to this type of blade and shaving. My face is flamed up really good but not in a over shaved skin type of flame but a in lot of little cuts irritated type of flame. More practice and then putting down injectors for a week or more to let all the new sensory information percolate before picking up again and then most this issues should resolve themselves on future shaves. The problem is the same going from carts to DE or DE to SE. Besides using too much pressure something I tried to do less of on this shave there is also the issue of not being used to the feel and sharpness of the style of blade/razor combo to get acclimated to. Either way this so far is in the top 3 best razors I own for now. This razor/blade combo at least for now is also a skill worth working on learning because the results justify the effort and not a learned shaving skill just to learn how to do something kinda of like what I am quickly discovering using DE stuff was for me. Not that it wasn't an improvement over carts, but if I had used injectors or SE gem style razors from the get go I probably would never have gotten beyond the try it to see if it works better stage of the shaving progression.

    Williams Mug Soap
    Schick B1 repeater
    Schick Proline B [ 3 ]
    Williams Aqua Velva A/S Lotion

I have been over the last week using Injectors confined to the use of a single blade , and almost overlooked this one. It may look like a Collectors Item which it is , but as a Razor used with care delivers a quality Shave which IMHO rates better than I get with an E2 or PAL . Definitely the best Shave of this Injector rotation, the kind you would want for your Daughters Wedding :)

    Williams Mug Shave Soap
    Jayaruh #340 Badger
    Kampfe/Star Lather Catcher
    CVS CS
    CWR
    Aqua Velva Musk AS

My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Williams Mug Shave Soap face lathered well with the Jayaruh #340 badger brush. I did two passes with the Kampfe/Star Lather Catcher razor with a CVS CS blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Aqua Velva Musk AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

I was in a mad rush and the I1 fitted with a twin blade was exactly the right tool for the job, aided along wonderfully by the slick Monsavon lather.
    Happy Shaving one and all.

I had a Great Shave yesterday with a Schick B1 Repeating Razor , and while browsing the net found this Advert for Schick Repeaters. An interesting read
which indicates that the Silver Ones [ B series] were $2.50 and the Golden Ones [ C series] were $ 5.

I dont like its handle. What does razor have to do with car gear stick? I dont understand the designer's intention.

It was a sales pitch for the Indy 500. Schick also did one called The Grip that looked like a tennis racquet handle for Wimbledon. Both are built with the Injector L-Head. I like my Schick Grip.
