The days are absolutely flying by! I'm riding along on the thread this month, mostly silent, as we continue unpacking, running errands, and setting up shop. We're making steady progress every day. We have unpacked well over half our moving boxes, and we can now park one of our cars in the garage. We cooked our first meal in the house yesterday. It was a nice change of pace from sandwiches, chips, cereal, fruit, etc. A few more days, and we should be totally unpacked. Then we have 3,762 pictures to hang. :scared011:It is starting to feel like home.

It was super hot today. After we spent time organizing the garage, we knocked off a bit early. We found a bottle opener (Swiss Army knife) and enjoyed Sierra Nevada Pale Ales this afternoon. :eatdrink047:

I'm planning to mow down three days of growth tomorrow morning with the Mongoose...then some errands...and more unpacking...and then guy's night out with a friend for dinner and to see As You Like It in one of our local city parks. Should be a fun filled day.

Hope all is well, gents. Have a great evening.

    Good evening, men!
This morning I had my first shave with my Rockwell Model T and gave an excellent review of a great shave! As promised, I wanted to really give it a test with 4 days growth for a headshave. I used my Rocky brush to lather my head with Van der Hagen Luxury Soap. The Voskhod blade (2 use) was used for this shave with a setting at 5. I usually go full throttle, but wasn't necessary during this morning's shave, so why change the setting! The Model T mowed my hair with very little pressure that after 2 passes, I could have considered this shave done, but I went for a third pass with minor touchups and with 10+ years headshaving experience this was the best ever. There wasn't any nicks, cuts, irritation for a BBS++ shave. Finished with Aqua Velva Ice Blue and there was not a hint of any stinging sensation. I have had terrific shaves, but this one was out of this world! The T took care of my trouble spot with ease which is the left side of the base of my skull that forms a crease. I aways feel an invisible stubble in that area. Well, this was the first time that I can truly say that I didn't feel any stubble anywhere. I have tried the Headblade, carts, different DE razors, the Model T tops them all, including the Rockwell 6C. Guys, I will close my Model T review by saying that this razor provided me with the best DE safety shave ever. However, I will never give up straight shaving. I realize Rockwell has had problems with producing this razor and filling orders, but I highly recommend this razor. I went on their website and it says that the T's are not available, but if you leave your email, they will contact you when it will be available. I guess they got smarter by not taking orders until they have enough made to ship them out quickly. Again, if and when these razors become available, then you can't go wrong picking one up. Thank you for allowing me to split the Model T review in stages today, but I wanted to keep my promise to be as thorough as possible. Have a great night fellas!
