    Well, a nice shave this morning, but see this is part of "Judgement June"....I'm putting the Bay Rum combo in the back of the bus(Den)for next fall and winter. Not that the BR is the only one back there, there are many(plus a set I'll be buying as fall approaches). Thus, to say I don't have a lot of soaps/A.S.'s set for the cold seasons is like saying 1+1=26. (It doesn't, so I do). As for the Jeeves&Stephan Bay Rums(soap and A.S. respectively), I do believe both were meant for the colder months. Ah well, I tried. As I say, it's Judgement June" so I get a mulligan for trying what may or may not work in the summer, besides those that obviously do(Aqua Velva, Mennen Skin Bracer, Stoylin S-kimo Tuxedo/Sharp Dressed Man, the Razorock soaps). But again, a fine shave with the Jeeves/Stephan team this morning....they work well together.

    Thank you guys. For over 15 years I lived with chronic abdominal pain from all my surgeries and underlying colon issues. For the past year the meds have let me be relatively pain free. I’m sure it is nothing serious but I do hope the pain free run is not over.

    Schick E2 / Personna (2)
    Semogue Owners Club cherrywood Tuxedo brush
    La Toja shave cream
    Alum and water rinse

    Same razor and cream as last shave and again a great one. The La Toja cream has wonderful residual slickness. I relathered between my two passes, but I think I could have shaved without soaping up again after my light rehydrating rinse! Postshave skin feel seems pretty good too. I used no splash or balm and am not feeling any lack.

    Hope everyone has a great Thursday. And on this 75th anniversary of D-Day, do pause for a moment to reflect on what we all owe those guys who hit those beaches so many years ago...

    Paul all the Fine boxes match the colors on the Fine Aftershave bottles so each box is different depending on the scent.
