I felt quite ignorant when i found it!
Hence glad to realize I'm not the only one who never heard of it.
Also Primotenore asked me about it.
I'm going to post composition, etc.

You should ask Burak Kucukler: it seems he has the right mean of transportation! ;)

Have you chosen the soap for its performance or for the photo of the apricot? ;)

    Morning TOST
    Jayaruh #340 Badger
    Kampfe/Star Lather Catcher
    CVS CS
    CWR
    Aqua Velva Musk AS

My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Morning TOST Shave Soap face lathered well with the Jayaruh #340 badger brush. I did two passes with the Kampfe/Star Lather Catcher razor with a CVS CS blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Aqua Velva Musk AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

EC55D905-D90A-47E5-9438-35E211370113.jpeg Well the road trip comes to an end and we have time to squeeze in one more shave as we pack up the gear and roll it home. The Timeless SS OC .95 was great on Wednesday so I decided to follow it up with the 34G. I know, 2 razors on a road trip? Yup!

The Palmolive shave stick is a great travel buddy and does the job pretty well. Much smaller than a comparable Tabac shave stick and quite a bit more affordable. Sad they are no longer being produced in the UK...(tear). Fresh out the shower and with a warm towel on the face and the Palmolive SS just glides on. The Yaqi SF whipped it all up into a nice lather which was more than enough for a three pass shave.

Smooth, smooth and smooth! Finished it off with some Nivea balm and we are good to go. Packed up, checked out and released the crew. Time for some breakfast and home to Villa Somnos! Take care, safe travels and happy shaves all!

    Rating: 5 / 5

    @Primotenore & @Tim Spencer, Re.: 4711

I did not find this soap: a member of the Italian forum I joined (rasando.it) who is always very busy in trading shaving things contacted me after reading my comments on 4711 EdT and offered this very unique soap and... I grabbed it!

Quite frankly, I would not kill anybody to have it: if it keeps performing like the other day... it will be just a collectible.
But it is worth to give it another try. Or two, as it is also matter of razor and blade.
And it is also worth to have it for its fragrance.

Here is the INCI and seems to be distributed by a company which is not that far away from me.
And it cannot be too old a product as the label says :'Do not disperse in the environment after use', a not too old law,

But no mention on who makes it!

Inside the lithographed metal bowl, the puck was wrapped in an old style thin white paper and there was a leaflet: a tough of elegance, class...

The 60 grs puck makes it great for a travel gear, but I would be scared of scratching it: on my trips I use samples or the only Proraso croap whose smell I appreciate. But it is definitely a winter fragrance for me.

    Neutrogena Men Facial Wash
    Razorock Plissoft 26mm Monster
    Super Speed/Astra Green day 6
    Mama Bear Lemon Ice SS
    Stirling Glacial Lemon Chill ASB
Henri et Victoria Bergamot Vetiver AS Splash

The Astra blade is getting kind of dull but it still helped me get a great BBS shave in two passes, although I had to do some touching up. This Lemon Ice soap from Mama Bear has been sitting around in my house for at least seven years, so I thought I would pull it out for a change - in fact I almost threw it away but after using it this morning I’m actually glad I didn’t. Its scent is nice, a little blooming makes it lather very easily because it’s glycerine based, and there’s no shortage of menthol. The Glacial Lemon Chill balm feels even colder and its lemony scent is lovely, not to mention its soothing and moisturizing sensation. The Bergamot Vetiver aftershave from Henri et Victoria is as cold as hell and the scent is quite nice.

Wishing you all a good weekend!

Just received the "More for You" shave soap from Turkey. Smell Arko'ish but not nearly as strong. Lathered easily and did a fine job providing cushion/glide. Think I like it but will use it a bit more to be sure. But my face is happy and that's a good sign. Now go enjoy your day folks.

Yep. I love the look of the shaving set. The Rich Man shave brush was a 'must' or it just didn't look complete.

I've found that when I have a less-then-perfect performing soap I can just use the PAA CUBE and it usually make it a top performer. I haven't tried the CUBE on my worst performing soap yet (Geo F Trumpers hard puck), but I plan to at some point. My bet is the CUBE can make anything shave great.
